Players

The Curtis Cup Match is played by women amateur golfers, one team from the United States and one team from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The teams consist of not more than eight players and a captain.

The USA team is selected by the USGA Women's Committee. The Ladies Golf Union selects the team from Great Britain & Ireland. Players must be citizens of the country they represent.
